| TN residents oppose JDA proposal of constructing flats | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Apr 6: The residents of Trikuta Nagar, Jammu has strongly resented against the proposed plan of Jammu Development Authority of construction of residential flats and other structures in Sector -3, behind main market on the site which has been marked for the School Building.
In whole of Trikuta Nagar locality, including its extensions there is no Govt School and wards of the residents have to go far off places for their studies.
Further, construction residential flats or any other structures shall badly effect the environment of the locality and create hardship and unhygenical conditions for the residents, particularly those residing in Sector -3.
The residents of Trikuta Nagar, therefore, appealed to the JDA authorities to give up this undesirable plan of constructing residential flats or other structures, instead it should utilize its resources for the construction of a School Building and approach the Education Department for providing infrastructure and teaching staff after the school building comes up.
It once again stressed that residents of Trikuta Nagar shall strongly oppose the proposed move of the JDA of constructing of flats at the site allocated for the school building and if need be they shall be forced to resort to other legal means
Virender Gupta , president of Jammu State Morcha presided over the meeting of the residents of Trikuta Nagar.
