| IETE starts one week workshop on MATLAB | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 6: Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, (IETE), Centre started one week workshop on MATLAB Applications from April 2 to 8, at Department of Computer Science and IT, in University of Jammu here today.
Workshop was inaugurated Joy Ganjoo, Chairman, IETE Jammu Centre. Speaking on the occasion, he elaborated initiatives taken by IETE for the benefit of the students, research scholars, and faculty members in our State.
He added that MATLAB is a well known scientific language and this workshop shall make the participants familiar with the fundamental to advanced programming concepts like virtual reality, image processing, communication, signal processing and other.
He stated that it will be helpful for acquiring advanced knowledge in engineering, computer science, IT, and other scientific domains. The exposure of this workshop shall be very helpful for academics and high end industrial applications.
Prof. Parveen Lehana, Department of Physics and Electronics, University of Jammu is the resource person for the workshop. A large number of participants from different engineering and science streams are participating in this one week event where they will also be given practical trainings with regard to the latest developments in MATLAB environment.
