| Seminar on ‘challenges of education’ begins | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Apr 6: R M College of Education Sainik Colony on Wednesday organised a national-level seminar on the theme “Challenges of Education in 21st century” in the college auditorium.
Minister for Higher Education Abdul Gani Malik was the chief guest while the Director Colleges Development University of Jammu Rajive Gupta presided over the inaugural function.
The function started with the lighting of tradition lamp followed by saraswati vandana. Chairman of the college Rameshwar Mengi welcomed the guests by presenting the welcome address. First news letter of the college was released at the occasion by the dignitaries.
Malik in his address appreciated the efforts of college for organizing such type of programmes and congratulated the participant for their wonderful efforts.
Rajive Gupta also expressed his views on the occasion and stressed on organization of such programmes.
Participants from different colleges like Adarsh College of Education, Chenab College of Education, JK College of Education, KCS College of Education, NSM College of Education, Ashoka College of Education, MIER College of Education, Vishav Bharti College of Education, Sai Shyam College of Education, H.P College of Education, Kawa College of Education, Partap College of Education, Ludhiana, Cosmic College of Education (Arni University), GCW Gandhi Nagar and GCW Kathua presented their papers.
Key note address was presented by Prof Rajeev Rattan, Department of Education University of Jammu.
