| BAJ presents Memorandum to Governor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, APRIL 7 – A 23-member delegation of theBar Association, Jammu ( BAJ) met the Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan here this evening and submitted a Memorandum of their demands.
The Memorandum presented by the President of the Bar Association, Mr. B. S. Slathia, related to the likely further enhancement of problems by the likely increase in the number of the vacant posts of the Judges in the State High Court.
The Governor gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured appropriate further consideration of the issue raised.
Among others, the deputation comprised former Advocate Generals, Mr. D. C. Raina and Mr. U. K. Jalali, Vice President of the Bar Association, Mr. M. Usman Salaria, General Secretary, Mr. Vikram Sharma, Joint Secretary, Mr. Parimoksh Seth, Treasurer, Mrs. Sandeepa Sambyal and Senior Advocates.
