| Prisons Directorate shifts to new premises | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, April 07-The Directorate of Prisons has been shifted to a new building located on the roadside opposite the State Times complex, Amphalla Jammu. The new premises has been established after renovating an existing Prisons Department building adjacent to the earlier office complex, where adequate parking space has been kept. With this shifting, a separate road has been brought up leading to the adjoining residential quarters of the Prisons Department. The decongestion will improve upon the working of the Prisons Directorate and the staff will be getting a healthy working atmosphere.
On the occasion, Mr. M.A. Anjum, Inspector General of Police, Prisons Department exhorted upon the staff to prioritize the work of public importance and those related with the improvement of behavior and living conditions of the jail inmates.
