Nearly 30,000 visited Sukerala Mata/ Bala sundri | Heavy rush of devotees at Goddess shrines | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, April 07- Heavy rush of devotees have been witnessed at all the Goddess shrines located in the district. Nearly 30 thousand devotees from in and outside the state have sought the blessings of Sukerala Mata and Mata Bala Sundri at Sundrikote in tehsil Billawar of Kathua district up to 4th of Navratra. Heavy rush of devotees have also been reported at Dhoula wali Mata and Jourian Wali Mata in tehsil Bani and Mata maha Kali temple at Jasrota in Hiranagar tehsil. The management committees have installed free langers for the devotees at all the shrines. The District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Ms. Zahida Parveen Khan accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Vikas Gupta and tehsildar Kathua visited Mata Asha Purni Mandir at Main Bazar, Kathua and Mata Bala Sundri at Nagri and Airwan temple today in order to take stock of arrangements made for the devotees during Navratras. The DDC interacted with the devotees and enquired from them about the arrangements made by the administration. The District administration has also made elaborate arrangements of drinking water, Power supply, Medical care and security at all the Goddess shrines of the district.
