| KPP deputation met DC Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar, Apr 7: A deputation of Kishtwar People’s progressive Forum met Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar and put forth various demands.
The deputation apprised the recently joined deputy Commissioner about the day to day grievances of the residents.
The deputation which was led by president of the Forum Noor Hussain Malik demanded repairing of non-functional filter plant and construction of additional filter plant.
It was also demanded that time be fixed for opening of ration depots and enhancement of ration scale.
Transparency in execution of developmental works and improvement of link road particularly Maithlen Poochal road was also demanded. Besides other demands the deputation put forth the demand of checking of rates of various commodities especially vegetables, meat, fruit and keryana items.
The process of title verification be shortened and installation of street lights was also demanded. The Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohd. Hussain Malik gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured early redressal of all the genuine grievances. Among other the deputation was comprised of Haji Ghulam Hussain Sheikh, Shadi Lal Parihar, Madan Lal Sharma, Ghulam Hussain Naik, Manzoor Elahi, Shabir Ahmad Najjar, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Ghulam Mohd Beg.
