| Provincial Electric Employees Union builds up pressure to release demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 7: Provincial Electric Employees Union held a meeting at Rajinder Park Jammu to make policy to build up pressure for the solution of demands/ issues of PDD Employees already discussed/agreed in the meeting held with minister of power on 6-01-2011.
The meeting was chaired by Barkat Hussain senior vice president of the union.
PC Sharma provincial president addressed the hundred of employees/representatives of the union and assured that union has focused to get the DPC orders to be issued with in few days.
It include amendment in requirement rule, allotment of proper designation, retrospective effect to the already regularized daily wagers from the date they were due for their regularization, risk allowance to the employees working in risk prone areas, regularization of daily rated worker by making a policy and release of Technical Grade (5000-8000) to all technical employees.
Sharma stressed upon the Govt. to avoid delaying tactics to fulfill the demands already agreed.
He said that since the employees are losing their patience and have made there minds to agitate for which the Govt. will be responsible.
Other who spoke on the occasion include G.M Tantary T.C Choudhary Davinder Sharma, Hardarshan Singh, Bishan Singh, Puran Chand ,Sanjay Sharma, Ajeet singh, Ajay Anand and others.
