Brahmin Sabha to release Panchang

Jammu, Apr 7: Sabha Shakti has exhorted that since due to the lesser knowledge of Sanskrit among the people of the state, confusion and controversies relating to the time and dates of the festivals and other occasion have arisen due to which Brahman Samaj is loosing its respect
A press meet was organized in the Sabha premises on such event which was addressed by the spokesperson general secretary of the Sabha Shakti Dutt Sharma
In order to overcome this problem the Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha being the supreme body of the Brahman Samaj initiated the process and after many workshop and conferences a Vidhat Mandal of prominent scholars and astrologist of Jammu province was formed and after a deep study this group of scholars and astrologist of Jammu province including Vishavmurti Shastri, Chander Mouli Raina, Uttam Chand Pathak,. Mool Raj Malhan, Shiv Raina and Shastri Dev Dutt prepared a precise Panchang in shape of 12 fold calendar which will be released by Governor N.N Vohra on 08-04-2011 at 12 noon in the Parshuram Bhawan Sabha premises.
This calendar has been prepared to put to rest all the controversies and the confusion relating to the time dates of various occasion.
Madan Lal Sharma Member Parliament, Ashok Khajuria MLA Jammu East and Chaman Lal Gupta MLA West will also be on the dice being guest of honour.
Those were present in the conference Ved Parkash Sharma president of the Sabha, Verinder Magotra, Sat Pal Sharma, Master Ram Paul Sharma, Suresh Sharma Deepak Sharma & Gurdas Sharma and others.
