| Khadi Gramudyog exhibition inaugurated | | |

Khadi and village industries commission (Ministry of SSI and ARI govt. of India) organized at Khadi Gramudyog exhibition at Mahajan Hall here today through its institution Khadi Gram Mandal Jammu Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation Ch. Manmohan Singh who was the chief guest inaugurated the exhibition Dr. Ved Kumari Ghai Chairperson Gandhi Sewa Sadan presided over the function. This exhibition has participation of above 20 Khadi and village industry institution.
As per press release the products of Khadi and village industry are genuine and of pure Agmark manufactured by down trodden people living at their home place, where no type of industrial production reach, the products of Khadi and village industry are produced out of the raw material gifted by the nature and are this safe for the use of human beings.
Use of products ensures lively hood for the hard of the Artisans which have been gifted by the skill of various handicrafts by the surroundings nature beauty of the state which they have developed by their inherited experience.
Under the scheme funds are provided by the nationalized banks for viable V.I projects, KVIC provides 255 of the project cost as margin money by way a bank ended subsidy in case of weaker section beneficiaries SC/ST/OBC/women/Physically handicapped/Ex- servicemen and of minority community of the margin money will be 30%.
There are about 122 villages industries under the preview of KVIC. All the entrepreneurs can be benefited with the scheme. In this exhibition there is 30% rebate on all types of woolen khadi, cotton khadi, silk khadi, and polyester khadi and 10% rebate on pashmina.
