JAMMU, April 8- Chief Electorate Officer, Mr. B. R. Sharma has issued notification for 7th Phase of Panchayat Elections in the State.
As per notification, in district Kupwara, block Kralpora the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08, 2011 except three Panchayats of Kralpora Block that is KP-290-Kerian Bora, KP-291-Mundian and KP-325-Pathran.
Besides, for block Kunzer in district Baramulla the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08 ,2011.
The notification further states that in district Budgam for block Narbal the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08,2011.
As per notification, in district Anantnag, block Shangus the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08 ,2011.
Similarly, in district Reasi, block Pouni the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08 ,2011.
For block Hiranagar in district Kathua, the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08 ,2011.
As per notification, in district Rajouri, block Rajouri and block Manjakote the date of issue of notification is April 09, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 18, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is April 19, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 21, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 08,2011 expect four Panchayat of Manjakote Block that is 7- Galhuti Upper, 27-Panjgrain Upper-A, 31-Rajdhani Upper and 33- Saroori Upper.
The Election Authority has fixed the hours from 8.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken on May 08, 2011. The Counting of votes will take place at 4.00 p.m. on the same day at a place to be notified by the concerned District Panchayat Election officer.
