| Mahajan reprimands opposition for criticizing self rule. | | | Jammu | Nov 15 Member Legislative Council Ved Mahajan today strongly reprimanded the Opposition for unnecessarily criticizing the formula of the Self-rule of PDP for merely its publicity purposes. Speaking after opening a link road at Kah Potha in Dansal block of Nagrota constituency, Mahajan said that Opposition in criticizing Self-rule because they do not have definite agenda for political solution of Kashmir issue. Elaboration, he said, Self-rule, infect is for bringing durable peace and all round socio-economic development in all regions of the state. Mahajan further said that coalition government supported by PDP has embarked upon a comprehensive programme for development of rular and inaccessible areas of the state like Dansal block. He announced Rs. Five Lakh grant from his constituency funds for the construction of various new works at Jandrah. Romesh Mottan General Secretary spoke about the initiates taken by his party for restoration of peace in the state. He said that it was because of his Mufti Sayed, that peace process was in the state and India and Pakistan came closer to each other. Opening of trade and commerce with neighboring country came to light with opening of the old and traditional routes of Muzaffarabad and Chakkan Da Bagh, he added. Those who also spoke on the occasion were Romesh Koul, Surjeet Koul State Executive, Baldev Singh Slathia, Ashok Sharma District President, Manjit Singh, Davinder Singh, Neeraj Sharma, District Vice President and Chaman Lal Nagrota Zone President.
