| Couple jumps from rooftop; woman dies, man serious | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 08: In a suicide pact, a couple today jumped from the rooftop of a house at Mastgarh here as a result of which the woman died, while the man was struggling for life in hospital.
Police sources said Janu and his wife Sunita, who were living on rent in a house at Mastgarh, jumped from the rooftop of the house in the morning.Both of them were evcuated by locals to the GMC hospital where Sunita succumbed to her injuries. Janu's condition was stated to be critical.Though police had registered a case in this connection, the cause behind the incident was yet to be ascertained.
