| Man hurt in road mishap | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Apr 08: A pedestrian was wounded critically after a speeding SRTC bus hit him here today. Police sources said Chand Kumar of Reasi was walking by the roadside when he was hit by SRTC bus (JK01Y0586).
He was admitted to the Katra hospital and later referred to the GMC hospital.
Police had seized the bus, while its driver was absconding.Meanwhile, a cow was killed after a bus (HR46/4680) hit it on the Painthal road here.Police seized the bus and arrested its driver Mohinder Singh, son of Puran Singh of Jaind, Haryana.
The cow was later buried by the municipality staff.
