| YBC completes its 20 years | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 9: Yak Book channel (YBC) has completed 20 years of its service to the people in the both province as well over all country. Governor NN Vohra has opened the new branch of Yak book Channel at Gandhi Nagar.
The spokeman said thathe YBC purpose to increase the reading habits among the people particullary the youth, they also said that we are also planned to have registered library memberswho read books within the premises from open shelf stock of books and also borrow them for limited period.
They said also increasing the demands of YBC books at different areas PBC had decided to open its new branch in prominent place in spacious area. This new out let equipped with mordern facilities will serve in a better way the marketing demands of the reading publice and all institutions.
The YBC also makes distribution of books to different leading libraries of the state government as well as various educational and professional institutions. The books are also marketed to the reading public including the defence services.
In yet another distinguishing feature YBC to organize seminars, discussions and lecturers by experts in order to inculcate and improve reading habbits among the people by having readers club.
