| Army repairs distributaries at Miran Sahib | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 9: The Army undertook repairs of Distributaries No 10 and 10A under the aegis of project Sadbhavana at Miran Sahib Brigade which is an initiative by the Army to improve the quality of life of the people of border areas.
The project is yet another manifestation of the strong military and civil liaison, cooperation and harmony. The repairs of distributaries No 10 and 10A will result in availability of water to the farmers in the vicinity of villages Karotna Kalan, Bhojpur, Kaloe, Nai Basti Dharampur and Sheikh-da-Chak.
With the dedication of the project to the civilian populace, the Miran Sahib Brigade has added another feather in their cap in fostering good civil-military cooperation. It was heartening to see the response of village elders and local population of the region. People expressed their gratitude for the Army’s efforts to undertake such projects.
