| 100000 signatures for Anna Hazare | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 9: The prominent citizen also in support of Anna Hazare’s crusade against corruption, launched Signature campaign to obtain 100000 signatures on a pledge that signatory will not ever give bribe to further his interest.
Retired Managing Director of Central Cooperative Bank, RK Sharma said that as per commitment made in the rally, these pledges signed will be sent to Anna Hazare.
He stated that this signature campaign is simultaneously being launched at three locations to start with one each at Gandhi Nagar, Gole Market, another in Prade and third at Rehari near Gurdwara, Volunteers will be encouraged to meet people and motivate them for signing this pledge.
He said though government of India has accepted the demand and Anna Hazare has broken fast with the constituting of Lokpal Bill Drafting Committee, everyone need to watch its becoming law in the due course of time.
He said since this Law would not automatically become operative in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, may be residents of State will also have to launch this type of Agitation to get the law implemented if the State Govt. fails to rise to the occasion.
