| DG RR visits Uniform Force, interacts with troops | | | JAMMU NOV-15-
Lt. Gen A K Saini, Director General Rashtriya Rifles arrived on a short visit to the Uniform Force here today.
Immediately on his arrival, Major General Vinay Bhatnagar GOC Counter Intelligence Force (Uniform) briefed him about the operational preparedness in the area of responsibility.
The General later flew for a swift visit to the two subordinate formations of the Force viz HQs of 15 Sector RR and 33 Mountain Brigade and interacted with officers and troops there.
General Saini was all praise for the efforts of the Uniform Force in bringing in peace, stability and development in the area and lauded the troops for their outstanding operational achievements. He also expressed his deep satisfaction on the developmental initiatives undertaken by the Uniform Force under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana.
Speaking to the troops before his departure, the Director General assured them of all assistance in their on going modernization program and later flew off for his scheduled visit to the Delta Force.
