| Fake cop held with pistol | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Apr 9 : A fake cop was arrested by police at Hatli Morh here along with a country made pistol and two rounds.
SSP, Kathua, J L Sharma said the fake cop was apprehended on a tip off while he was allegedly extorting money from passengers at railway station.
The accused was identified as Balbir Singh of Tara Nagar. A country made pistol and its two rounds were also recovered from him. Police had registered a case against him.
