| Slathia inaugurates DSD Knitwear Garments unit | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, APRIL 10-Minister for Industries and Commerce, Mr. Surjit Singh Slathia on Sunday inaugurated DSD knitwear garments unit at Sultanpur in Bishnah town.
MLA, Bishnah, Mr. Ashwani Sharma, President BBIA, Mr. Anal Suri besides eminent personalities and industrialists were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Slathia asked the unemployed youth of the State to take full benefits of various centrally and State sponsored schemes like self-help groups, handicrafts, skill development and industries which have been mainly tailored to address the unemployment problem. He said Central and State Governments have launched number of welfare schemes for uptlifting the socio-economic condition of the unemployed youth of the State. He highlighted the role of private sector in boosting industrialization in the State adding that industrialization is the only solution for solving the challenging of unemployment problem in the State.
