| Expose misdemeanors of corrupt politicians: JKMF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 10: J&K Milchar Front (JKMF) urged common man to wake up and expose misdemeanors of corrupt politicians.
Addressing media on Sunday Kuldeep Kumar Rao, State general Secretary ,J&K urged the common man of the state to awaken from decades of slumber and united fight the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats whose corrupt practices had created all the problems confronting the state today.
He extended all appreciations to the news papers and SIT members for daring and needed exposure. The disclosure in the news papers of 10-02-2011 & 12-02-2011 has sent shock waves among the readers. Government is meant for maintaining law and order and for ensuring peace and justice but if the government machinery' itself becomes the biggest gang of exploiters, where should then the common man look for justice?
He added, “The major problem facing us today is mutiny. The main cause of which is the callous attitude of politicians towards the problems of common man. Funds amounting to Hundreds of Billions that were provided by the centre have mostly been utilized to swell the purses of these leaders. The deserving youth got thus neglected in respect of their education and employment and took the path of Militancy”.
The only hope of redemption is the awakening in the common masses, he said. Rising above narrow conflicts of caste & creed, the should untidily fight against this a pervasive corruption.
Rao stated, “Let those honest & energetic people who belong to no main political party be elected as our representatives to local bodies, to state assemblies and to the parliament neither spend corers to became M.L.A's and M.P's nor ,naturally, will intend to earn ten time the spend money when rein of power comes in their hands. Let the public think on it rationally & give chances to such people at least for one term & if the public displaces keenness of vision, they will find such people in every constituency fight from Lakhanpur to last corner- of Kashmir valley. Only government by such representative can be expected to deliver justice & good governance. They can amend & also strictly implement the laws to curb even sort of corruption including the dangerous and ever growing trend of adulteration too”.
