| Another Dogri film in making | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 10: Another Dogri film based on a social theme related to the traditional culture of Dogras is going on floors from mid May, auditions for which were held today at K L Saigal Hall.Entitled as ‘Kuggi Maar Duari’, the film has the songs rendered by Upma Sharma, the most versatile singer of the region having the melodious Dogra essence.
Directed by N K Phull, the film has art director in Vidya Bhushan, a name well recognised with Dogri films and commercial telefilms made in Jammu and Kashmir.
Produced by Shree T Creations, the organisors of the film are Innovative People Group whose main thrust is to highlight the Dogra culture of the state on the national panorama also.
Written by Basant Beyogi, the film is scheduled to cast the local faces in the main lead while the local talent having gone to Mumbai would also be called to be the part of the venture.
Already two important songs of the film have been canned.
Hundreds of young local aspirants had turned up at KL Saigal Hall to take part in the audition of the film.
