| Trials for Arun’s U-14 football camp on April 12 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 10: Likewise last year, international football player from Jammu, Arun Malhotra has decided to conduct a 12-day specialized coaching camp for the budding talent of the state in under-14 age group.
The trials shall take place at University of Jammu (JU) grounds, here on April 12 and April 13 from 4.30 pm onwards. “After holding trials, we will pick-up over 20 upcoming players in under-14 category for the coaching camp at the same venue,” informed Arun.
He said that similar camps were conducted earlier in under 16, under-17 and under-19 age groups as part of promotion of the game among the youngsters.
“This time we have decided to focus on the youngsters, who are future of the state and the country. So, I request the boys, taking part in trials, to come in proper football uniform for the selection trails on the given date and time,” further said Arun, who presently serves with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
