| Cabinet to remove misgivings on Dogra certificate: Soz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 11: Apparently, in order to keep Congress stand strong, PCC president Prof SaifuDin Soz today said that Dogra certificate issue is a non-issue and the misgivings it raised by a section of the society would be settled by the cabinet. He said since there was some misconception and misgivings from some quarters it is for the Cabinet to decide the matter now.
"Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla issued the government order in good faith…. Bhalla's intentions were honest…. He did nothing wrong by issuing the order…. Some sections of the society blown it out of proportion," Prof Soz told reporters here today.
"The matter will be sorted out… It's a non-issue; it will die down soon… The issue is now under cabinet consideration…. Cabinet will discuss and resolve the matter," he added. |
