Separatist lobbying to seek audience of BJP Parl. Study Group.

Jammu, Apr 12: With BJP’s five member Parliamentarian group in Jammu for four days visit to J&K state to hold talks with cross section of society hectic lobbying has become in separatist camp in valley for seeking an audience with the group. Though BJP Group leader Rajnath Singh has made it clear that the study group will meet people from all shades of opinion who are willing to talk under the framework of Indian Constitution, the separatist leadership in valley had tried to make contacts with all those people who mean in state BJP to seek audience.
According to sources the hardliner Hurriyat Conference as well as moderate section of Hurriyat are lobbying to seek an audience with BJP Parliamentarian group to present their point of view.
Sources said that some separatist activists have made contacts with BJP leaders in Kashmir valley who are coordinating the group seeking the appointment for meeting the visiting Parliamentarian Group. However the BJP leaders while not turning down the request of separatist leaders have however made them clear that the party is willing to talk to anybody who is ready to discuss the present situation in the state and suggest solutions for the same under the framework of Indian Constitution . Sources said some separatist groups had visited union capital a day prior to BJP Parliamentary Groups visit to J&K and when they contacted national leaders in Delhi they were told to contact the Parliamentarian Group which has already left for state and was on the job to hold talks with people of state. The separatist leader later contacted some state BJP leaders seeking time and date for the meeting of leaders of his faction with the BJP Group.
Sources said two BJP leaders of the state Chander Prakash Ganga and Charanjit Singh Khalsa who are camping in Kashmir valley are already in touch with the representatives of various valley based organizations who are likely to meet BJP visiting Group members. The leaders of these groups have shown their total willingness to meet BJP delegation so that a way out can be found to restore everlasting peace in the trouble torn state.
Meanwhile Parliamentarian working group met a X-section of people during their two days stay in Jammu on April 11 and 12. Besides the members of Jammu Bar Association, representatives of Sikh organizations, representatives of west Pak and POK refugees, Scholars and groups of intellectuals besides various factions of Kashmiri migrants.
A spokesman of Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch(JKVM) which met the Parliamentarian Group yesterday said that it stressed the rehabilitation of Pandits at a single township in valley instead of scattered places. Quoting former BJP ministers Shah Nawaz Hussain the Manch spokesman said that the parliamentarian Group was very receptive on this demand. He said Shah Nawaz Hussian said this is a better option for rehabilitation of displaced people back in valley.
