HC restrains PSC from finalising law officers' selection | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 12: High court judge, Justice J P Singh, in a petition filed by Yogeshwar Singh and others, seeking quashment of written examination of law officers/assistant legal remembrance, has issued notice to the government through chief secretary, GAD commissioner and PSC chairman. He directed PSC that it might go ahead with selection for the posts of law officers/assistant legal remembrance but would not finalise it till next date of hearing. In the petition, it was submitted that the petitioners applied for the posts of public law officers/assistant legal remembrance as per a PSC notification. It was alleged that out of 120 questions, more than 43 questions were out of syllabus.They said the respondents were going to conduct the interview process despite the fact that legal notice was served upon PSC for the cancellation of the examination and seeking quashment of written examination/interview.
