| SDP meets BJP Parliamentarian study group | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 13: A delegation of Jammu & Kashmir Socialistic Democratic Party today met the visiting Bhartiya Janata Party Members of Parliament headed by Rajnath Singh at Srinagar today. This delegation of SDP was headed by its president Darakhshan Andrabi and comprised of the party leaders Aijaz Rashid Bhat, Siraj Dar, Saleem Mohi-ud-din and Mohammad Hanief Khan.
During this meeting SDP president presented a comprehensive report on the political situation of Kashmir and the party’s views for solving the problems in Kashmir.
While speaking to the delegation Darakhshan Andrabi said that the approach of New Delhi in tackling with the political situation in Kashmir has not remained just because by promoting and according significance to anti-nationals and those who believe in violence. She said that we need to have a shift of approach at Delhi end to see positive change at the ground level in the troubled state.
Darakhshan said that the policies of the local government has always remained beneficial for the situation to get off the track and later all major political party’s do dirty politicking for mere political ends.
She said that the state government has exhibited its complete incompetence in dealing with the situation.
Darakhshan said that Kashmir has become an earning source for many mainstream and all separatist political parties. She asked the visiting delegation to carry the pain of Kashmir to New Delhi so that after decades a real treatment to the ailments in the political system of the state is done.
