| Dy CM greets people on Baisakhi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, APRIL 13 – Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Tara Chand has extended warm greetings to the people of state on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
In a message of greetings, Mr. Tara Chand said that the festival has a special importance for people at large and particularly for those engaged in the profession of agriculture and farming. He said the day marks the beginning of New Year and start of the harvest season.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Baisakhi has special significance for our Sikh brothers who also celebrate it as the day of the birth of Khalsa Panth.
Mr. Tara Chand called upon the people of State to celebrate this festival in unison with traditional fervor and gaiety.
