| College Alumni Association held meet at GCWP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 13: A meeting of the college Alumni Association was held on 13th of April, 2011 in the Govt. College for women Parade Ground Jammu.
The members of the college Alumni Association present on the occasion were Prof. Indira S. Rathore (President) Prof. Meenakshi Kilam (Vice President), Prof. Asha Gupta (Treasurer) Prof. Meenu Mahajan (Co-Treasurer) and members of the Advisory Board including Prof. Rita Jitendra, Prof. Vijay Luxmi, Prof. Renu Goswami, Prof. Savitri Sharma and Dr. Kiran Bakshi were also present in the meeting
Principal of the College Dr. Kiran Bakshi welcomed the Guests and shared the achievements and various activities of the College IQAC which included the Introduction and background of the Accreditation process, vision, mission and objectives, recent milestones and future plans. She formally announced the dates for NAAC Peer Team visit during may 19th to 21st of May, 2011 for reaccreditation of the college and opened the house for discussion. Members were also apprised of the working of the IQAC of the College.
Dr. M. S Pathania, Co-ordinator IQAC gave power point presentation of the activities and achievements of the College IQAC during the current session.
A detailed discussion was held to further promote the academic excellence and healthy practices to fulfil the vision, aims and objectives of the college towards excellence .
