| PDP Patron and President greet people on Baisakhi and Ambedhkar Day | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, April 13: Peoples Democratic Party Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, festival that is celebrated particularly by Sikh Community in different parts of the country and Dr Ambedhkar hope that the joyous festival Baisakhi may inspire us to strive for peace, harmony and amity and work for the unity and progress of our state."
Paying tribute to Dr B R Abedhkar, PDP Leaders said that he was one of the illustrious sons of the India who struggled throughout his life to restructure the Indian Society.
The PDP president in her greetings said “On the joyous occasion of Baisakhi, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all my people, particularly to all those engaged in cultivation,” she added.
Extending greetings to the people the party general secretary Mohammed Dilawar Mir in his massage said "This festival traditionally is also an occasion to mark a new beginning, may Baisakhi this year usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all," he said.
