JAMMU, Apr 13: Dogra certificate issue is not against the valley people, neither will with harm their interest. This certificate will help the Dogras of Jammu, irrespective of religion Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs in getting special relaxation in height and chest in central forces. The fresh
controversy on issuance of Dogra certificate in Kashmir particularly from separatist section is unwarranted. Early Times speak to students from different institutions in Jammu and seek their views on the issue.

Being a dogra myself, I strongly support the issuance of Dogra certificate and this will not harm the interests of Kashmir valley. This certificate will help the Dogras of Jammu, irrespective of religion- Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs in getting special relaxation in height in central forces. The fresh controversy on issuance of Dogra certificate in Kashmir from certain section in unwarranted.

By issuing Dogra certificate to Dogras, it will benefit them in getting jobs rather relaxation in central forces and moreover, it is an identity of a Dogra. I am fully supporting this certificate. It appears that the state government, like the kashmiri separatists, consider the dogras of Jammu province as irrelevant. It doesn’t augur well for the future of the state. I fully support issuance of Dogra certificate.

Rafia Ashraf hailing from Poonch district of Jammu region was of the view that she does not know much about dogra certificate. Being a jammuite, I want benefit for the students and people of this region, particularly who live in far flung areas like Poonch, Mendhar, Surankote etc. If dogra certificate is for benefit for people of Jammu region including Poonch, Rajouri, I see no harm in it.

Dogra certificate is issued to the Dogra since long to seek relaxation in the recruitment of Belt forces. I fail to understand that why the people like Geelani poke their nose in the issues which has no relevance with them. The issue is not going to harm any Kashmir people. This certificate will benefit all those including Hindu, Muslims, Sikhs who want to get relaxation in central forces (services).
