A deputation of various trade union organizations belonging to state public sector underking led by Sh. Jugal Sharma State Secretary INDIAN NATIONAL TRADE UNION CONGRESS met various cabinet Ministers and apprised them of various demands and problems of the workers.
In a meeting with Finance Minister Mr. Tariq Hameed Karra the deputation apprised him about the difficulties being faced by the PSU employees for non release of their salaries and other allied dues for the month together, non remittance of the C.P and G. P with concerned authorities of some of PSU units such as SRTC, JKI, J&KHDC etc for the last more than five years, non-implementation of pensionary benefits and other pending issue such as conversion of Cola into DA, merger of 50 percent Cola/ DA with basic pay, regularization of consolidated and DRW’s working in P.S.U’s and release of pending DA/Cola for the last three year viz w.e.f. 1-1-2004, 1-1-2005 and 1-1-2006.
The deputation appreciated government’s efforts and lauded the role of Mr.Karra in fulfilling the long pending demands of the SFC employees during period and hoped same attitude will be adopted by Finance Minister in solving the long pending issues pertaining to PSU industry along with the employees working.
As per press release issued by INTUC here today, Secretary INTUC Mr. Jugal Kishore discussed the issue pertaining to the regularization of the DRW’s of IWDP with Finance Minister for giving due consideration.
Later, the delegation also met Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma Health and Medical Education Minister, Mr. Rigzin Jora PDD Minister, Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak R&B Minister, Haji Nissar Ali Social Welfare Minister and were apprised by the delegation about the grievance of the P.S.U employees.
The representatives of the various PSU Organization such as J&K SRTC, SICOP,J&K HDC, J&K PCC, J&K TDC, JKI, J&K HPMC Agro Industries SC BC Corporation includes S.Amrik Singh Sasan, Sh. Abdul, Manan Bhat, Sh. Joginder Pal, Sh. Jagjit Singh, Sh. Ashok Singh, Sh. Baldev Raj, Sh. Sham Pawan Sharma, Sh Karam Chand, Sh, Mohd. Sadiq, Sh. Suraj Singh, Sh. Balvinder Singh, Sh. Sham Lal, Sh. Anil Maskeen, Daljit Singh, Parshotam Kumar, Karan Singh, Ashok Anand, Lal Singh, Anant Ram, Jaswant Singh, Sh. Pranab Sagotra, President Young Worker Counsil etc. |
