| Religious slogans raised inside Assembly lobby | | |
Jammu : It was perhaps for the first time that religious slogans were raised inside the lobby of Assembly complex soon after the results were declared by the supporters of NC candidate from Kashmir. Amidst felicitation ceremony of garlanding the winning candidates in a jampacked lobby , some supporters of NC raised religious slogans much to the surprise of many even as nobody objected to it. The religious slogans were however followed by the slogans like ……Omar Rahul Itihaad Zindabad……….NC- Congress Itehaad Zindabad….. by the supporters. At one point of time it was virtually stampede like situation inside the lobby when the jubilant supporters pushing and prodding each other broke the table inside the lobby. All the victorious candidates were heavily garlanded by the leaders and supporters of respective parties before they proceeded for victory processions.
