| Youth will remain prime focus, says Ashraf Mir | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, April 14: Expressing gratitude to the party leadership, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, District President and MLC pledged that he will do every thing to strengthen the party and his prime focus would be Srinagar and the youth who have suffered most during the last 20 years.
Mir said this while addressing the party workers who had come to welcome him at Party headquarter Srinagar.
He said that he will take forward the party’s agenda. Further commenting on the election to Jammu Council seat Mir said it had further exposed the nexus between BJP and NC, peoples apprehensions about the house trading have been proved right.
He said that both the parties BJP as well as NC claim to follow totally opposite ideologies, what could have been the cementing force between the two parties, is the question haunting the public.
The apprehensions of open horse trading having taken place have further discredited the institution of assembly, Mir asserted.
Mir said that PDP is party with principles who have sacrificed power for the people of the state and will always work for peace, prosperity and development of the state. He lamented that inspite of the fact that Srinagar having been represented by the ruling NC for more than 35years, has seen the worst kind of degradation in development, repression and insecurity among the people.
All the zonal presidents and youth leaders were also present and spoke on this occasion.
