19 exchange sides through at Kaman Post on LOC | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Apr 14: Seven fresh guests from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here this afternoon while 12 Kashmiris crossed over to other side in the Karvan-e-Aman bus operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad. Five returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post, in Uri sector, official sources said. They added that seven fresh residents of PoK, including two women, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu bridge on foot this afternoon. Two Kashmiris, who had crossed over to PoK in previous buses also returned to their homes after completing stay there. Sources said that 12 residents of different parts of the Kashmir valley, including five women and two children, also travelled to PoK to meet their relatives, separated in 1947. Three resident of PoK, also left for their homes after completing their stay in Kashmir. The service was started on April 7, 2005 when Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh flagged off first bus from here. The bus service, which was started for the first time since 1947 on Jehlum Valley route, helped families divided due to partition, to meet with each other.
