| DDC conducts surprise visit to DH Poonch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, APRIL 14-In order to ensure punctuality of staff in govt. institutions especially in Health and Education sectors, District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Mr Ajeet Kumar Sahu instructed concerned Officers of district administration to take surprise checking of government institutions falling within their jurisdiction.
As a part of inspection drive, the DDC inspected District Hospital Poonch while Additional District Development Commissioner checked Govt. H.S.S Girls Office, District Industries Centre Poonch and Dy. Director Employment Office. Additional Deputy Commission Poonch also checked Boys Higher Secondary School and some other offices at the same time.
Likewise all Tehsildars checked health and educational institutions in their respective jurisdiction.
During inspection of district Hospitals sanitation condition was found pathetic apart from some staff members were absent, out of them four unauthorized officials were placed under suspension while action on others was recommended. Stern warning was given to Superintendent Distt. Hospital and matter was reported to higher authorities for further action.
In Mendhar many teacher were found absent and an inquiry was initiated against them for disciplinary action.
