Cross-vote by BJP MLAs | BVS seeks judicial probe | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 15: Calling it as a betrayal with Hindus and innocent people of Jammu, Bhartiya Vidharthi Sena today in a press note criticized the Bhartiya Janta Party MLA’s accusing them of having sold faith of the people of Jammu to anti-Jammu forces by supporting non-BJP candidate in MLC elections. Vikrant Sharma, state president of Bhartiya Vidharthi Sena (BVS) demanded independent probe into the whole episode. He added that governor should order a judicial probe and election commission of India should declare MLC election null and void. He said the BJP leadership is hoodwinking people of Jammu by taking resignations of tainted MLAs. Sharma said that voters and supporters of BJP and innocent people of Jammu will never forgive these tainted leaders. Vikrant said after Sri Amarnath agitation in 2008, people of Jammu whole –heartedly supported Bhartiya Janta Party and this is why their strength rose from 1 to 11. Vikrant also warned the BJP leadership of Jammu that all the erring MLA’s of BJP should submit their resignations to the speaker and all the facilities provided to them should be withdrawn at an earliest.
