| After victory, Yashpal visits Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 15: Former Minister and Vice-President J&K PCC Yash Pal Khajuria, after his election to Legislative Council visited Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, had darshan of Mata ji and took her blessings, today.
Earlier he was given warm reception at Katra by the Ex-Sarpanchs & Panchs and other prominent Congress workers led by Sardari Lal Dubey, a senior Congress leader and District Chairman of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangthan. Speaking on the occasion Khajuria thanked Congress President Sonia Gandhi and JKPCC President Prof. Saifuddin Soz for giving him mandate for the MLC seat.
He also thanked all those MLA’s who voted in his favour. Khajuria pledged that he will look after Udhampur and Reasi District and come up to the expectations of Congress leadership and the people of erstwhile Udhampur District.
