JAMMU, April 15: Vice Chancellor of the University of Jammu, Prof Varun Sahni today inaugurated the 10-day long specialized coaching camp for under-14 boys, organised by international football player from Jammu, Arun Malhotra on the campus, here.
He also gave away football kits to 35 selected boys provided by Arun Malhotra to encourage the talent at grass root level. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Sahni lauded the efforts of Arun and expects more such gestures in future too. He offered all possible help from the JU for such activities.
Director Physical Education and Sports, JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau was guest of honour on the occasion.
Prominent among others present were Brij Baloria, Ramesh Chander, Ramesh Mangotra, Raj Kumar, Hanumant Singh, Kuldeep Handoo, Narinder Kumar, Dr Sanjokita Sudan, Nisar Ahmed and Vikram Gupta.
Meanwhile, Arun Malhotra is being supported in his camp by Sandeep Sharma, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sahil Lehal , Vinay Kumar, Arun Jasrotia, Vinay Kalsotra, Nirdosh Salgotra, Romesh Verma and Kaka.
