| CS reviews Katra Bus Stand Project | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 15: A meeting of the High Powered Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Madhav Lal for development of Katra Bus Stand was held today to discuss the conceptual plan prepared by Abacus Legal Group, a transaction
Advisor empanelled by the Union Ministry of Finance.
It is proposed to develop the Bus Stand Katra in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Various options conceived for this project by the Transaction Advisor were discussed in detail. Consultant was advised to prepare the Detailed Project Report alongwith various options to go about the project in a PPP mode.
Bus Stand will be developed on a piece of land measuring 14 hectare in Katra town. The allied facilities like parking lot, theme park, budgeted accommodation etc. will be integrated in the proposed project. Meeting among others was attended by Principal Secretary Housing and Urban Development Suresh Kumar, Commissioner Secretary, Finance Sudhanshu Panday, Deputy Commissioner Reasi P. Pole, CEO Katra Development Authority and other officers.
