22 employees suspended for violating election process

ANANTNAG, Apr 15: District Panchayat Election officer Anantnag today placed 22 government employees of various departments under suspension for unauthorizedly abstaining from election duty and violating election process.
Employees had been appointed Presiding /Polling officers during the ensuing Panchayat Elections and were imparted necessary training. The absence of officers had caused lot of
inconvenience during the election process.
Concerned Sectoral Officers have been asked to charge sheet the suspended employees separately and furnish the same to their District Panchayat Election Office within a weeks’ time, with their explicit comment. The suspended include four lecturers, two Masters, Ten teachers, one girdawar, one junior engineer, one junior Assistant, One VLW, one MPW and one head draftsman.
