2 ultras get 10 years rigorous imprisonment | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 15: Two militants were today sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by principal and district session judge, Kathua. A fine of Rs 10,000 was also imposed on the accused -- Raj Din, son of Abdul Ghani of Khurdwah, Lowang, and Hassan Din, son of Bashir Ahmad of Lohai, Billawar. If they did not pay the fine, they would further undergo one year simple imprisonment. On November 7, 2004, police personnel led by SI Raghubir Singh, SHO of Bani police station, were on search operation in Lowang area of Bani in Kathua when they came to know about the presence of militants at Morha Sifty. A cordon was then laid and Raj Din and Hassan Din were arrested by the police party. Two AK rifles along with 8 magazines and 240 rounds and two Chinese grenades were recovered from them.
