| Stadium XI wins by 8 wkts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 16: Stadium XI outplayed Young Guns Cricket Club by eight wickets in the ongoing 1st Simula Budding Cricketers Tournament at MA Stadium, here today.
Chasing a target of 104 runs, Stadium XI attained the goal in 15.2 overs, courtesy, fine innings played by Mohit Gupta (36), Nipun (23) and Hrithik (21).
Earlier, batting first, Young Guns made 103 for the loss of six wickets in allotted 20 overs, Subrot (29), Rattandeep (22) and Harsh Singh (21) were main contributors. From Stadium XI, Sant Baksh claimed two wickets while Rishab, Jeetu and Nipun picked one each.
Mohit was adjudged man of the match for good batting performance. The match was officiated by Shashi Pal, Ab Salam and Shashi Jasrotia.
