| Killing of innocents against tenets of humanity: Rather | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, APRIL 16:- Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather has strongly condemned the killing of civilians at Karapora in Budgam today by some unidentified persons, adding that a case has been registered to identify the culprits behind this heinous crime.
The Minister who visited the residence of the deceased to convey his condolence and sympathies with the bereaved family said that no stone would be left unturned to bring the murderers to book under the law of land.He said killing of innocent in any form or manifestation is against the tenets of religions and humanity.
The Minister also visited various remote villages of Charar-e-Sharief constituency including Shankerpora, Zagipora, Dalwar, and Chrowni and took stock of security scenario for the smooth conduct of Panchayat polls commencing from tomorrow.
Rather interacted with the people in these villages and enquired about the development scenario. He assured the people that government was aware of their problems, adding that all their resources are being pooled to address the genuine grievances of the people. He said government was committed for social equality and uniform development in every region of the State.
The Minister also visited Charer-e-Sharief town and paid obeisance at the Shrine of revered Saint Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud- Din Wali(RA) and prayed for the lasting peace and prosperity of the State.
