Sham Lal visits fruit Mandi, Emporium garden etc | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, April 16: Various associations of health and family welfare met the Minister for Health, Floriculture and Horticulture Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today. The association thanked the minister for confirmation of employees who are working on migrant posts. Association also took up various demands with the minister and he assured them that their genuine demands would be fulfilled. Earlier, Minister visited Government Nursing Home, Gupkar and inspected various units and sections of the Hospital. Minister issued directions to the Director health services and Director Rural Health Mission that a comprehensive plan shall be made immediately for renovation of Hospital on the pattern of Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu. The minister along with MLA Batamaloo Mr. Irfan Ahmad Shah also visited various areas of Parimpora and inspected various ongoing works. Minister asked the concerned officers that the works shall be completed very soon. Minister inspected the works of fruit mandi, Parimpora and released Rs 3 Cr for further construction and beautification of the Mandi. The president association of the fruit Mandi thanked the minister for providing funds last year also. Minister assured the president that a cold storage facility will be set up for safe guarding of fruits. A large number of people of the area met with the minister. MLA Batamaloo Mr. Irfan Ahmad Shah was also with the minister. Minister also instructed that a dispensary shall be constructed at fruit Mandi for the people. Earlier, the minister also visited MLA Hostel Park and Arts Emporium garden/park. He directed the concerned officers that a plan shall be submitted for the beautification of the parks. He was accompanied by Director H/S, Director Rural. Health Mission various officers.
