| Jodhamal students visits Air Force Station | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 16:
Jodhamal Public School students of the kindergarten wing had rare and thrilling excitement-filled day at the Air Force Station, Jammu courtesy AOC Air Commodore Nitin Sathe.
The three to five year old tiny tots, some of whom had never travelled by air or seen a real aircraft, got the unique opportunity to see the takeoff and landing of aircraft from just a few feet away.
Thereafter, they witnessed a breathtaking landing of the Cheetah helicopter at very close quarters.
The children were also allowed to see the Air Traffic Control tower from outside. They also saw lots of helicopters besides small aircrafts parked on the airstrip and in the hangars. The teachers were a brief look into the ATC tower. Finally, the little kids were given a look and a chance to sit inside a real helicopter, which was the high point of the day for them.
