Mexus Education: Paving the road ahead from Education to Edutainment | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, April 16: Eduvate India 2011, initiated by Mexus Education, prominent educationists and academicians from around Jammu met at a panel discussion to express their views on adding value to current education system through technological innovations. The panelists included: Dr. Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER Group of Institutes, Dr. Vikram Handa Director Tiny Tots Group of Institutes, Dr. Anjali Raina, Principal Bhargava Public School, Anil Choudhary Principal Montessori MNKG and Sudesh Raina Principal DBN Vidya Mandir. The panel discussed the gaps in the current educational system and how technological innovations would make learning more qualitative, interesting and meaningful experience. The esteemed panelists were of the view that since information and communications technologies are playing crucial role in our life. Speaking at the event, Anil Goyal, Director, Mexus Education, said that, “Mexus has taken this initiative to offer a platform for academicians to share various pedagogies and teaching aids. Mexus strives to develop products that would help teachers address disparity in aptitude of students while students remain engaged in subject topics through entertaining media like videos, animations.” The theoretical concepts are elaborated to the students in more engaging fashion through products like. Talking Books and Comic series that encourage experiential learning while engaging students with sketchy cartoons and simple language would be unveiled for teachers to assess their import in attracting attention of pre-primary and primary students. Eduvate 2011 seeks inputs of academicians on education innovations that would help them in address multiple intelligences in the class, while ensuring that all of these students reach a certain minimum level of understanding and learning.
