| Govt failed to provide basic amenities to fire victims of Habakadal: Mir | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, April 16: PDP District President and MLC Mohd Ashraf Mir today lambasted the government for its failure in providing the basic amenities to the fire victims of Gadoodbagh Habakadal.
In a statement after visiting the victims of Gadoodbagh Habakadal Mir said that the government has made only hollow claims to provide assistance but on ground nothing has been done
Mir stated that at least 41 families have suffered huge loss and from the government side only 12 tents have been provided to them instead of shifting them to any marriage hall or community centre.
Expressing sympathies with the effected families Mir assured for every possible help and urged the administration to provide free ration, tin sheets and other facilities and make necessary arrangements for their rehabilitation.
