| JKSPF appeal BJP to study J&K history first | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 16: A programme of JKSPF was organised in R.S. Pura in which a large number of people attended.
Addressing the gathering, chairman JKSPF Devinder Singh Behal, appealed to BJP leaders to know the history of J&K past and then speak.
Behal suggested BJP leaders and former President Rajnath Singh to study, the political history of J&K before issuing any statement regarding J&K.
Behal reminded BJP leaders visiting delegation members that they should remember the visit of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and also a senior leader of BJP to Lahore where he had assured that J&K issue would be resolved peacefully.
Vajpayee also announced in Pakistan that peace & prosperity would return in South Asia, once J&K issue is resolved.
Behal said that why Govt. of India formed delegation after delegation for resolving J&K issue peacefully.
Behal also appealed to BJP not to disturb the communal harmony and_brotherhood for their petty political benefits.
BJP does not know the fact that last 63 years old problem faced by the people of J&K. One Lac people have been killed and thousands are still in jails because of J&K issue.
Sheikh Sajjad, general secretary, JKSPF said that the people of J&K state do not need any certificate which will create distance among the peace loving and secular public of J&K.
The people of J&K have their own history of maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood.
JKSPF condemned the killing of Moulana Shoukat Ahmed Shah at Kashmir, who has always worked for poor and down trodden people of Kashmir.
Those who were present in the programme include S. Kuljeet Sihgh, Mohinder Singh, Dilbagh Singh, Tejinder Singh, Mohan Singh, Sham Lal, Kamal Kumar, Satish Kumar, AsifChoudhary, Mohd. Hussain, Yasir Hussain, Javed Choudhary, Amit Gupta, Souraph Kumar and others.
