| Gujjars up in arms against delay in release of funds | | | Page 5

JAMMU, Apr 17: Jammu and Kashmir Gujjars united Front ( GUF) has strongly criticized the state government as well as central Govt for not releasing central funds under SCA to TSP for the Year 2009-2010 and 2011 in the state for the development of tribals.
According to a press handout issued by President of the front Shah Mohammed Chowdhary, he has alleged that state government is not deliberately releasing the funds even after March 31 just to divert funds for other purposes which are outside the scope or programme under SCA to TSP particularly in Kashmir valley.
Chowdhary further said that despite the clear orders by Union ministry of planning, state government has not segregated the funds for the development of SCs and STs in the state in accordance with their population form the total approved plan of J&K by the central Govt.
